Jeno Major is a passionate landscape photographer who believes that nature is the best and most perfect architect of beauty. In Sibiu, his birth city, he is very much appreciated in his day profession: for more than 25 years on the stage of Gong Theater, he has been giving life to puppets and to the joy of children. Photography, a passion that he discovered a few years ago, is as dear to his heart as acting is. He is described as a solitary photographer who loves nature and mostly photographs landscapes. Hundreds of awards, personal exhibitions, and the reactions of those who see his photos attest to his talent and elevate his passion. His favorite photo is called “Solitude”, a photo enclosed by National Geographic.

He has received countless awards in the country, but also internationally. Notable are the awards given by the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), and also the third place obtained in the “35 awards” for black and white landscape photography. His photos are paintings of reality, moments in time captured at the perfect time. He spends most of his time traveling and searching for the most beautiful sights and the most unspoilt places. Such places are still abundant in his birth country, Romania. He is delighted each time to be able to capture unique images, created by nature, and also to capture the archaic and therefore beautiful countryside side of Romania.
